Una Critica de la Obra de Teatro “Yerma”

El domingo pasado con mi clase, fui al Teatro de Isabel Católico para ver la obra de teatro “Yerma”. En el primer mes de nuestro tiempo en Granada, leímos esta obra en nuestra clase de cultura con nuestro director Lay. Fue una historia muy interesante sobre una mujer y su deseo tener un hijo. Me encanto leer esta obra porque la historia fue muy complejo con una trama profunda. Algunas veces, empecé sentir confundido porque fueron muchos personajes y fue difícil recordar cual persona dijo que.

Por eso, me gusta ver la obra más que me gusta leerlo. La obra al teatro fue más emocionante porque cada personaje tuvo una personalidad distinta. Pues, fue mas fácil recordar las caras de las personas y comprender sus personajes. Mi parte favorito fue las canciones. En el libro, pude ver cuando los personajes cantaron; pero, oír las canciones en directo fue mejor.  La actriz quien tuvo el papel de “Yerma” fue increíble! Me encanto su voz y ella tuvo una presencia muy fuerte en el escenario.  Ella fue natural y fue fácil pensar que ella fue el personaje de Yerma.

This past Sunday with my class, I went to the Isabel Católico Theatre to see the play “Yerma”. In the first month of our time in Granada, we read this play in our culture class with our director Lay. It was a very interesting story about a woman and her wish to have a child. I loved reading this play because the story was very complex with a thoughtful plot. Sometimes I began to feel confused because there were a lot of characters and it was difficult to remember which person said what.

Because of this, I liked watching the play more than I liked reading it. The play at the theatre was more exciting because each character had a distinct personality. Therefore, it was easier to remember their faces and understand their characters. My favorite part was the songs. In the book, I was able to see when the characters were singing, but to hear the songs live was better. The actress that had the role of Yerma was incredible! I loved her voice and she had a very strong presence on the stage. She was a natural and it was easy to think that she was the character of Yerma.
