Viviendo
en una ciudad es muy diferente de mi vida en Connecticut. No hay mucho
naturaleza a dentro la ciudad de Granada aunque puedo ver las sierra nevadas a
lo lejos. Pero los parques de Granada son muy bellas y son las lugares
perfectas a escapar el estrés de la ciudad y relajarse.
Cerca
de mi casa es el parque F. Garcia Lorca que es un parque donde la familia del
escritor, Lorca, tuvo una casa y granja. Ahora el parque tiene mucho espacio
libre, jardines, esculturas, y patios de recreos, pero también la casa original
de Lorca todavía permanece.
Es un
sitio bueno para correr y hay algunos maquinas de ejercicio para los viejos.
Karonica y yo tratamos las maquinas y son divertidas. Además los patios de
recreos en los parques en Granada son muy divertidos. Tienen juegos muy
exóticos como una tirolina.
En días
de tiempo bueno mucho gente joven va al parque para broncearse y pasar un rato
con sus amigos. Mis amigos y yo vamos en días con mucho sol y nos bronceamos en
una toalla, leemos libros o nuestras notas y escuchamos a música. Es un lugar
muy bueno a mirar los españoles y otros estudiantes internacionales y siempre
puedo escuchar una variedad de lenguajes. El parque tiene un sentimiento muy
bien, activa y feliz. Te recomiendo mucho a pasar un poco de tiempo en el
parque.

Living in a city is very different from my life in Connecticut. There is not much nature in the city of Granada but I can see the Sierra Nevadas in the distance. But Granada parks are beautiful and are the perfect places to escape the stress of the city and relax.
Near my house is the F. Garcia Lorca Park, that is a park where the family of the writer, Lorca, had a house and farm. Now the park has plenty of free space, gardens, sculptures and playgrounds, but also the original home of Lorca still remains.
It is a good place to run and there are some exercise machines for the elderly. Karonica and I tried the machines and they are fun. Besides the playgrounds in parks in Granada are a lot of fun. They have very exotic games like a zip-line.
On days of good weather many young people go to the park to sunbathe and hang out with their friends. My friends and I go on days with plenty of sunshine and we tan on a towel, read books or notes and listen to our music. It's a very good place to watch the Spanish and other international students and I can always hear a variety of languages. The park has a very good, active and happy feeling. I highly recommend you to spend some time in the park.
