Mi
tiempo en Granada fue una experiencia de una vida. Durante estes cuatro meses
he aprendido mucho sobre la ciudad de Granada y de yo misma. Tomé muchos paseos
y visitas históricos en los calles ancianos del centro, el Albaizín, y
Sacramonte. Me agradezco la belleza de la naturaleza en los montañas que rodean
Granada. La Alhambra es un sitio precioso y famoso en la historia de esta
ciudad que yo podía ver cada día y noche, cuidando mi ciudad. Cuando no estaba
explorando la ciudad, estaba en clase o en mi casa, aprendiendo español. Mi
español ha mejorado mucho, y tengo más confianza cuando hablo. No podía tener
vergüenza porque el lenguaje fue mi instrumento para vivir en España y tener
una experiencia totalmente cultural. Cuando vuelvo a los EEUU, voy a apreciar
mi familia, amigos, lenguaje, y comida como otro cultura especial para mi.
Ahora tengo dos familias y culturas como parte de mi vida.
My time in Granada was an experience of
a lifetime. During these four months I have learned a lot about the city of
Granada and about myself. I went on many walks and historic visits in the
center’s old streets, the Albaizín, and Sacramonte. I appreciate the beauty of
the nature in the mountains that surround Granada. The Alhambra is a precious and
famous site in the history of this city that I was able to see every day and
every night, watching over my city. When I wasn’t exploring the city, I was in
class or in my house, learning Spanish. My Spanish has improved a lot, and I
have more confidence when I speak. I couldn’t be embarrassed because the
language was my instrument to live in Spain and have a totally cultural
experience. When I return to the US, I will appreciate my family, friends,
language, and food as another special culture to me. Now I have two families
and cultures as part of my life.
