No me parecía difícil.
Bueno,
os cuento lo que pasó. El autobús salía de “Barajas T4” (Terminal 4). Estaba en
Terminal 2.
brevemente, pregunté a tres personas diferentes, quienes me dijeron cosas
completamente diferentes.
Problems with Spanish Public
Transportation
The big
problem with Spanish public transportation is that nothing is clear. I went to Italy this past weekend and the return trip to Granada was very
stressful. The plane landed in Madrid at
midnight and the bus to Granada
was going to leave at 1:30, so I had an hour and a half to find the bus. It
didn’t seem hard at all.
Well, I’ll
tell you what happened. The bus was leaving from “Barajas T4” (Terminal 4). I
was in Terminal 2. I asked myself how I was going to get to Terminal 4 (because
I had no idea) and then, I saw a sign for a “T1, T2, T3 and T4” bus. ‘Very
good,’ I thought to myself. ‘This must be right.’ But, I got to Terminal 4 and
there were no signs indicating where the buses were leaving from. I asked the
person working at the information desk, who told me I had to go down to the
ground floor and then ask someone else (not very helpful, in my opinion). To
make a long story short, I asked three different people, who all told me
completely different things. One told me I was in the right place, another told
me I had to go to a different part of the airport, and another told me I had to
take a bus to the place where the long-distance buses, like to Granada, were
leaving from. I had no idea what to do, I was going to miss the bus, and I
wanted to cry out of frustration.
I was so
lucky that a girl asked me where I was going and helped me. She kept asking
people passing by if they were going to Granada .
And finally someone said yes! She also told us that we were in the right place
to get the long-distance buses because at that hour (very early in the morning)
they only left from right there. The bus arrived ten minutes before it was
supposed to leave (very strange, I think) and I got on and finally I was able
to relax.
