Paraíso

Este fin de semana, subiera a un avión y voló al paraíso. Creo que es la única palabra que justamente describe Palma de Mallorca. Cuando fui, estaba engañado. Pensé que Palma iba  una isla pequeña, pero en realidad, es una ciudad. Tiene una catedral preciosa, muchas empresas, y una población turística enorme. La cosa que parecía el más extraño para mí era que había una gran población alemana. Casi todos los duendes de los restaurantes y todos de las personas del aeropuerto hablan español, alemán, e Inglés. Fue muy extraño para escuchar alemán en un lugar en España. Tenía un tiempo increíble, y no puedo esperar a volver! (Una chica puede soñar ¿no?)

This weekend, I boarded a plane and flew to paradise.  I think that is the only word that fairly describes Palma de Mallorca.  When I went, I was deceived.  I thought Palma was going to be a tiny island, but in reality, it is a city.  It has a gorgeous cathedral, plenty of businesses, and a huge tourist population.  The thing that seemed the most odd to me was that there was a huge German population.  Almost every restaurant owner and all of the airport staff speak Spanish, German, and English.  It was very strange to hear German in a place in Spain.  I had an amazing time, and I cannot wait to go back! (A girl can dream right?)
