Fútbol? Sí, por favor!

Cuando estoy a UConn, juego fútbol cada día en el equipo de club.  Quiero jugar fútbol cuando estoy en España también.  Como resultado, el lunes traté jugar un partido en el campus principal de la Universidad de Granada.  Estaba emocionante a jugar, pero desafortunadamente, la misión falló.  Cuándo llegué a la Universidad, no había chicas que estaban jugando fútbol.  Sin embargo, todavía pregunté el hombre en el edificio del deporte podría participar en el partido.  El hombre respondió, “Las chicas no juegan fútbol aquí.” Además, el hombre dijo, “¿Tu eres de los Estados Unidos? Las personas en los Estados Unidos no juegan fútbol muy bien.”  Estuve tan enojada en este momento.  Después de la conversación, yo regresé a casa. 

Sin embargo, soy determinado.  Quiero jugar fútbol, y jugaré fútbol.  Me gusta España mucho, pero los hombres aquí son muy machos y chulos. ¡Mostaré a los españoles que chicas pueden jugar fútbol muy bien!

When I am at UConn, I play soccer every day on the club team.  I want to play soccer when I am Spain, as well.  As a result, on Monday I tried to play a game on the University of Granada’s main campus.  I was excited to play, but unfortunately, the misión failed.  When I arrived at the University, there were no girls playing soccer.  However, I still asked the man in the sport’s office if I Could participate in the game.  The man responded, “Girls don’t play soccer here.”  Additionally, the man said, “Are you from the United States? People in the United Statesdo not know how to play soccer very well.” I was mad in this momento.  After the conversation, I returned to my house.

However, I am determined.  I want to play soccer, and I will play soccer.  I like Spain a lot, but the men here are very macho and cocky.  I will show to the Spanish that girls can play soccer well!
