Almuerza en España!

Plato Principal de Cerdo
Plato Segundo

This weekend our group went to Seville, Cadiz and Ronda. The trip was fantastic and fun. One of the best parts was our lunch of many dishes. In Spain they eat lots of food for lunch at two or three in the afternoon. My señora usually makes one or two things to me, but on this trip we had four or five dishes. My favorite was the restaurant in Seville, Meson Don Raimundo. All walls were adorned with things from Andalusia and Spain. Some of my favorites were two suits of armor, a statue of Don Quixote, and copper pots. The first course was a salad and I liked it because my señora does not cook many vegetables in our apartment. The second dish was eggplant with meat and tomato sauce. The third was the main course. There was a choice of pork, fish or vegetables. Pork is very popular in Spain and I have it in some way every day. Dessert was ice cream and fruit. It is common to have fruit after dinner. Each day my señora has fruit with her meal. Also with this big lunch there was bread, we always have bread in Spain!
