Me siento afortunada

            Una de las razones decidí estudiar en España es debido a que quiero aprender más sobre la vida y sobre mí misma. Cada día, entiendo el español y cosas sobre la vida mejor y por consiguiente, me siento mejor viviendo aquí.

            A mí me gusta España porque, en comparación con los Estados Unidos, tengo más tiempo para relajarme y estoy más independiente. Aquí, leo más, duermo más, y como más comida deliciosa. Tengo la oportunidad aprender el español mientras apreciando mi vida.

            Por ejemplo, ayer, corrí en el parque. Después, me senté en un banco y escuché a las canciones de los pájaros. En los Estados Unidos, nunca tengo tiempo así.

            Además, hoy, esquié en la Sierra Nevada. En la montaña, miré las nubes y la nieve, y dije: “Me siento afortunada estar en España.” Aquí, tengo tiempo para sentir afortunada para cada momento en mi vida.

I Feel Lucky

            One of the reasons I decided to study in Spain is because I want to learn more about life and about myself. Each day, I understand Spanish and things about life better and consequently, I feel better living here.

            I like Spain because, in comparison to the United States, I have more time to relax and I am more independent. Also, here I read more, sleep more, and eat more delicious food. I have the opportunity to learn Spanish while appreciating my life.

            For example, yesterday, I ran in the park. After, I sat on a bench and listened to the songs of the birds. In the United States, I never have time like that.

            Furthermore, today, I skied at the Sierra Nevada. On the mountain, I looked at the clouds and the snow and I said: “I feel lucky to be in Spain.” Here, I have time to feel lucky for each moment in my life.
