Este fin de semana, mis amigos de Extremadura, España, vinieron a
Granada para visitarme. Ana y Rubén tiene una hija que se llama Sofía, y ella
tiene cuatro años. La ultima vez que estuve con ellos en España fue hace dos
anos cuando Sofía tenia dos años. Ahora, ella ya puede hablar muy bien en español.
Para mi, ha sido una experiencia muy buena hablar con ella porque una niña no distingue
que yo no conozco bien la lengua. Por eso, ella no hablaba muy despacio para
mi, y yo necesitaba prestar atención a lo que Sofía quería decir. Aprendí unas
palabras nuevas como “fular” que es una bufanda de seda (una bufanda es para el
invierno). Si tienes una oportunidad de comunicarte con un niño, debes hacerlo para
mejorar tu español.
This weekend, my friends from
Extremadura, Spain, came to Granada to visit me. Ana and Rubén have a daughter named Sofia, and
she is four years old. The last time I was with them in Spain was two years ago
when Sofia was two years old. Now, she can communicate very well in Spanish.
For me, it was a very good experience speaking with her because a child doesn’t
know that you might not know the language very well. Because of this, she didn’t
speak slowly for me, and I needed to pay attention to what Sofia wanted to say.
I learned some new words like “fular” which is a silk scarf (a scarf is for the
winter). If you have the opportunity to communicate with a child, you should to
improve your Spanish.
