¡Adios, Granada!

      ¡Granada ha sido fantástica! El tiempo ha pasado tan rápido y no puedo creer que el viaje esté casi terminado. Me he acostumbrada a casi toda la vida cotidiana española – la comida, que hay más contacto físico entre las personas, la siesta (que voy a echar de menos en los EEUU), vivir sin un coche, vivir con una señora, etc. – pero algunas cosas que NO voy a echar de menos son: el servicio lentísimo en las tiendas y la hora de las comidas. Todavía al final del viaje siempre tengo hambre al menos una hora antes de la hora de comer. Estaré aliviada devolver a almorzar al mediodía y cenar a las 19:00, en vez de almorzar a las 14:00 y cenar a las 21:00. Me he disfrutado muchísima en Granada y estoy tan contenta que vine aquí, pero no estoy triste salir. Estoy lista devolver a los EEUU.

Goodbye, Granada!

          Granada has been fantastic! Time has passed by so fast and I can’t believe that the trip is almost over. I have gotten used to almost everything about Spanish daily life – the food, that there’s more physical contact between people, siesta (which I’m going to miss in America), living without a car, living with a señora, etc. – but some things I’m NOT going to miss are: the extremely slow service in stores and meal-times. At the end of the trip I’m still getting hungry at least an hour before it’s time to eat. I will be relieved to go back to having lunch at noon and dinner at 7:00 instead of lunch at 2:00 and dinner at 9:00. I have had so much fun in Granada and I’m so glad I came here, but I’m not sad about leaving. I’m ready to go back to the States.
